| m1L | Insert the left needle from front to back, under the yarn between the stitches on the left and right needles (thus lifting it onto the left needle). Knit it through the back loop. |
| p | Purl. |
| p tbl | Purl through back loop. |
| p2sso | Pass the 2 slipped stitches over the last knitted stitch. |
| p2tog | Purl 2 stitches together. |
| PW3 | Slip the third stitch on the left needle over the first two stitches, p1, yo, k1. |
| skp | Slip 1 stitch knitwise, k1, pass the slipped stitch over. |
| sl | Slip 1 stitch purlwise with yarn at back. |
| ssk | Slip the next two stitches one at a time, knitwise. Return the stitches to the left needle and knit them together through the back loop. |
| twisted k2tog | Slip 2 sts purlwise one at a time, slip the first stitch on the right needle back to the left needle by inserting the left needle from right to left through the front leg of the stitch, twisting it. Then slip the second stitch back to the left needle and k2tog. |
| twisted k3tog | Slip 3 sts purlwise one at a time, slip the first stitch on the right needle back to the left needle by inserting the left needle from right to left through the front leg of the stitch, twisting it. Then slip the next 2 stitches back to the left needle and k3tog. |
| twisted ssk | Slip 1 purlwise, k1, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. |
| twisted sssk | Slip 1 purlwise, k2tog, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. |
| W3 | Slip the third stitch on the left needle over the first two stitches, k1, yo, k1. |
